You probably reached the limit (so count those up). Limit resets each day most likely.

I have same issue. it shouldn't be daily because I tried to send 6coin gift today for first time and i got same error.

It appears there shouldn't be limits. There used to be some, but it seems most of them are removed (2FA, account age, 1 gift per 24 hours).

Dunno if there's a recent changes to gifting.

Are the coins you're trying to gift from trade, donation or received as a gift, and if so, how long ago did you obtain the coins? Within the last 72 hours?

I use to send coins to friends. Last time I send coins was 3 days ago. I tried to send coins today and it wouldn't let me. I got my coins by selling characters

It's intended. The Gifting system is being scaled back to its original purpose - sending gifts between actual friends

Specifics will not be provided but the amount of Gifts an account is now eligible to send scales generously with the amount the account has donated. This is the only realistic restriction that can be placed on Gifts without completely disabling the system as we have done in the past. We do not expect this change to restrict the vast majority of legitimate players.

If you feel you have been unfairly restricted and would still like to send a Gift, you'll need to request it within the web support system. We'll then review the circumstances and process your request manually.

My guild has been gathering coins. By earning gold together for the guild bank and selling it on the website we've built up a store of coins that rightfully belongs to all our raiders. With this restriction, there's no way for me to send the coins to the people who helped earn them throughout the season, so the entire guild suffers as a result and the coins will simply sit there as I can't use them all myself. Would this qualify as being unfairly restricted?

Support isn't going to come individually answer that sort of question when instructions to properly open a ticket on the website have already been laid out.

Why would you hide the specifics when you implement a system during time when people are trying to send each other gifts during the holiday season? Don't we atleast deserve to know how much we have to donate in order to increase our limit on gifting. The word generous is so vague, do i really have to donate in order to find out whether I will be able to send out gifts or my mates or what?

Too many people were abusing the system, aka selling coins. I guess it just couldn't go any further haha.

At least if the staff tell us with how much donation how we can gift coins will be valuable this is so vague
