1. Game does not run.

When I try to run the game an error window appears. Few weeks back when I ran the game everything was fine. Haven't touched nor deleted anything.
It says the following: "DivxDecoder.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.... Error status 0x000cf01."
    Any ideas?

  2. You can re-check your torrent for that missing file.

Maybe it's way simpler and instead of creating a shortcut you moved wow.exe to desktop.

  3. instead of creating a shortcut you moved wow.exe to desktop.
Think very carefully about what you just suggested,

  4. sorry sorry, didn't read properly. It's not missing, as it says when you open wow.exe when it's in a random place.

But deleting that dll, then recheck in torrent to get a new one might help.

  5. Your DivxDecoder.dll file is corrupted probably. If a file is corrupted it's likely more are corrupted as well. Re-check the torrent or download it again.

  6. What I said above was if you move the actual .exe file of a game/program outside of its folder, the game/program will not run at all. That's why if you want to start software from a location different from the installation folder, you use shortcuts.

Right, it will ask for that exact .dll in question in such a case. Which I thought is the problem, but I didnt read it properly, instead of missing, that file is found, but corrupted.
