Transfering toons from Frostmourne to Icecrown

So I've never transfered a character from one realm to another and wanted to ask, if I have a toon on Frostmourne with the same name as the one I do on Icecrown, do I have to change my name with my money or do I somehow get the option to change the name. or can i even transfer?

If the name already exists on Icecrown you will have to rename it when you try to log in.
