Hello Everyone, my friends and I have been playing world of warcraft for around 12 years, and we are mostly pvp oriented
I just like to share my thoughts regarding something i find completely absurd
Why are premades allowed to queue versus solo random players ?
Honestly the logical obvious thing is to set premades vs premades. maybe even implement a raid bg rating system like in cataclysm.
Every week you have douzens people if not hundreds giving pvp a shot. they decide to queue only to be faced versus a bis premade team of players, with coordination, communication, full buffs, and heals. and the outcome is obvious : a massacre. it's like Barça a professional Football team playing versus a group of random, it's just straight up bullying, there is no challenge, no fun, no competition, no one is gonna watch or enjoy that.
if the opposite team has no chance to win, and they get destroyed the moment they res or attempt to win, how do you expect people to like or continue doing pvp. even if you are on the side of the premades, its boring as ****, its just total domination, not because of how good of a player you are but because you are cheating/ using unfair advantages.
maybe its perceived differently by some people but pvp at its best is when both teams have a chance to win, that pushes people to make extra effort and work together to achieve victory.
don't get me started on the honor kill heros who call pressing aoe button on one place an HONOR kill. what happened to fairness and mutual fun? it seems to be that this server is just allowing people who paye money to do whatever they like without any consideration for the rest of the community.
Thank you for reading, i hope you share your intake on the matter
Because it's a whole lot easier to say block premades than to actually filter them out and then there's the fact they aren't abusing anything they're just using teamwork in a multiplayer game.
There is an obvious reason why Blizzard didn't allow raids to queue Bg together but limited it to a group of 5 people max to queue together, you really can't force a group of casual average players to play versus fully-invested all out players. situations like this are sorted by rating or game modes or a number of possible solutions. it is really not wise nor right to keep things the way they are.
Yes, changes that didn't exist in this expansion. We can't just borrow large changes from other expansions without pissing off a bunch of people, the vanilla and TBC communities are a great example of that, but we do divide BGs into multiple gear brackets. My personal experience in BGs has been that people generally lack awareness when it comes to people on their own team unless they're friends so when fighting against pretty much any group that actually works together it's about the equivalent of raiding with pugs and no leader. People are great at seeing what other people are doing wrong when they're dying but they perpetuate it by rarely paying attention for that same scenario unfolding on someone else.

They absolutely are. If you play AV and play objectives, like capping GYs instead of farming people when they spawn there, their entire premade gets together and reports you afk so you a) don't get any honor, or b) have to constantly be in combat.
It's been going on for years, and reporting them does nothing. I've just started to insta leave whenever I get an AV.
You can cap the graveyard they're farming and force them along but I just asked about removing the deserter timer by playing objectives instead of just pvp combat. I'll reply when I know more.
With all due respect But the gear bracket system is either a myth or dead and gone and i can prove it immediately. i Have 2 green/blue geared lvl 80s and they will get the same queue as my 6k or 5k chars (that also includes Toc geared chars on blackrock, trust me i asked and tried). And i'm glad you mentioned the difference betwen an organized guild raid and a pug, the success/progress rate is beyond comparison, you can't compare the performance of a carefully selected well geared, experienced, organized players with a random group of beginners/average players and a few Good ones. again it is absurd to make premade raids fight random players, and that is literally the state of most bgs these last weeks or months and people are obviously getting sick of it.
Removing the deserter timer by playing objectives will be implemented. Also, the brackets work like mercenary mode and only activate when enough people are in queue from what I remember.

That was something that happened with people who tried to game the edge of brackets by having a bunch of weak gear along with a much more powerful weapon, expecting to be set on a lower bracket due to averaging "GS," but finding out the attempt to cheese it got them sent to the higher bracket instead. Also with people who tried to equip weaker stuff after they had already been set to the highest due to owning stronger equipment. Once you go higher bracket there's no going back, from what I recall.
These characters I spoke of are alts I leveled and i didn't yet the chance to gear so they have no High gear pieces at all. I Kindly ask to look again into the Bgs bracket system because it is obviously broken. regarding the timer i'd rather wait for 5 even 15 min for a fun fair genuine battleground then receive an instant queue, only to be farmed and overpowered, maybe bring back the option to play low or mid-tier like it was on blackrock but was removed sadly.. I hope our requests are to be taken into consideration. Or any sort of solutions can be provided because we have honestly stopped doing bgs.

Could you guys at least remove multiboxers from BGs? Met one in the last 3 BGs and it's absolutely incredible it's still being allowed. Automation should have no place in PvP, and a player shouldn't be able to occupy more than 1 spot in a team. I can't think of a less controversial decision than banning multiboxing in BGs.
Well if that would happen i would return to play way more actively. But it will never happen. Retail wotlk never had such a thing, so they wont do this easily giving this reason to you :). If this bracket would exist, the highest pvp bracket would loose players. Even if i had not totally BIS but decent geared chars i would "never" play em. The game could be fun again tho. To be honest Icecrown has deleted my motivation to play WoW for a while. Always like this, playing 2-3 months then a year break from Warmane. Maybe the progress server will bring some fresh air, whats rlly needed but dont expect this to happen. Server need cannon fodders.

No, won't happen. MB is allowed for up to 5 in open world/PvP.
You fail to see that it's indeed controlled by one person, but it's still 5 characters. People can't seem to comprehend this and think "I can beat this one guy". Then they come here and complain about getting wrecked. What if you actually practiced the good ol' teamwork, rather than on your digital numbers on a scoreboard that nobody will remember in two days.
