Why my account keeps getting locked?

I don't play the game continuously, I drop it and come back to play it again after a while, every time I did so for the last year or so, when I try to log in, my account is blocked for some reason. For sure, I can just enter on the site and unlock it, but what is the point of it? The friend I play with is having the same problem.
