Armor class/type means nothing. Upgrade is an upgrade. You are trying to shame other players for not giving to you item that you've lost in fair roll, by bringing up their names.
RL (raid leader) was not wrong.
You conveniently don't mention yours and druids classes, which makes judgement even harder.
Also, there is no "Shattered ice belt" wrists, closest thing is belt "Crushing coldwraith belt", which is known to be BiS caster item for all classes.
So all in all, you are just salty that someone eon "your" item.
