Hi hows it going

i've never actually made a post here so i guess i'll start by saying i dont normally come to the forums very often. im from america, i am 31 with kids and I enjoy soccer though I can't play it anymore. i've played here since about 2016, just never had a reason to come to the forums. I have been contacted by aldtharios in my messages for different reasons, and I feel like our conversation is very one sided. I would like very much to speak to some other moderators but I don't know where to look.

When I click the "contact us" option on the bottom, it takes me to a screen that says this service has been disabled. I would like very much for our concerns to be heard, but I have been banned simply for asking a question in pm's in a very kind and direct manner. Which is appalling. Yet, I understand. Most people who come here are simply now lifes and have nothing else to do but make other people angry. I'm not one of these people, I enjoy our game very much, but I do feel like I'm being bullied by this moderator and thusly, have come here to introduce myself and to ask if anyone here knows the proper chain of command of gm's and moderators here so that I can speak to someone who isn't going to bully me. I grew up around bullies and don't appreciate them, and I messaged smyth with our issue almost a week ago and simply got cold shouldered.

It's unfortunate. But, that's who I am, and that's why I am here. I hope this message isn't deleted, because I've made posts before and they get deleted. I'd just like to say Hi to the Lordaeron community and thank you for having us here.

That's funny, considering that you were banned here in March, for coming spam threads repeatedly, even after deletions, "demanding" proof for the ban of guild mates or whatever. You even contradict yourself in this very post, saying you got posts deleted.

Aldtharios isn't a Moderator. He's the Head GM, the boss of our Game Masters.

Again, he isn't a Moderator. He can't give bans in the Forum, although he could have asked one to have a look and make the call. What you were banned in the Forums for was already mentioned. It was your only ban, and it was given by me.

The fact you say "our concerns" is making me feel you're still wanting to complain about those banned guild mates. Is that really it?

Again, Aldtharios is the Head GM. He's at the top of the chain of command when it comes to in-game decisions.

Hi there thank you for the response,

The bans in march were a miscommunication on my part, and I've apologized for them previously.

The bans in the forum are not intentional, I'm not trying to stir a pot I'm simply trying to have my issues addressed in a cordial and respectful manner, which clearly is not happening with Aldtharios.

"Our concerns" is in reference to a very long almost 600 word disposition regarding a concern that Aldtharios raised in PM's, which takes the concerns of our guild's officers and compiles them in an easy to read format. He did not address a single one, and instead banned me for racism, despite me trying to handle said situation with courtesy and respect.

I have appealed the ban to smyth, and now I have a better understanding of the forum rules. I simply don't come here enough to know even where to find them let alone what they are. Thank you for not limiting my ability to speak so that I can at least respond to you.

In the end, this post was truly in fact a "hello" to the forum, because I have avoided it. I don't like the personality cults i've found in the many forums i've been apart of over the decades and habitually avoid them.

Well, we don't like to have "personality cults" or cliques on the forum, but guilds do kinda do that to some degree specifically with their recruitment threads. But that's about it. If you have problems with something here on the forum, feel free to send a private message to any of the forum moderators, myself, Palutena, Obnoxious, Arbiterone, Repost and Empyrean. We'll do what we can to address the issue within a fair manner in the confines of our forum rules.
