With a success of hardcore servers you can see that the main part of vanilla is leveling.

Onyxia is not a hardcore server and unfortunately this is the key point here.
The statement that no one cares about easy raids etc. is simply wrong and made up. I guess you meant it in non-literal meaning, i hope lol, because there is lots of player types that has different goals and views on the game. When you do easy raids with pugs vs easy raid with guildies while laughing and having fun it's the whole different story.
I originaly was shilling for x3, but then i remembered how truly "beautiful" and majetick vanilla content is on it's own, now i think x5 is the right choise lol.
Anyway, don't expect it to be vanilla, i can tell you as someone who tried leveling on beta on different rates and it feels nothing like vanilla either way, so why even bother.

Great human brains of pve content, it's not disputed, put the flag ON pvp, but put it at the beginning of the content itself, by default it should be "ON" so who wants to turn it off, he can turn it off right? Does that bother you too, and is it a problem for you?
As you ALL said, who wants pvp can turn it on? let it be that those who don't want PVP can turn it off?
Plus make it so that it can't accept instant change for 1 hour, is that a problem for you too? let's be parliamentary, don't be children, who look at pvp as violence like did i hit you physically? Where is brain? , what drugs are you on, what kind of violence have you been mentioned in the last few days? This is a game, not a physical, bloody, violent war, tafuq is this

This is the old "Opt-in" vs "Opt-out" argument. Generally, Opt-in is seen as a more ethical system. Why? Let's sign you up for deals at the supermarket. They get your phone number, which they will call at 3am to tell you what will be on sale that day. Do you want to opt-in for those calls, knowing they'll be at 3am...or do you want to start getting those calls, and be forced to opt-out after you're woken up for a week at 3am?

What's the list of requirements for being a "true vanilla player"?

I'll go with common sense and say at the top of the list must be capping your internet connection to the average speed they had back when WoW launched and insisting on paying a monthly fee (which with inflation considered should be around 25 USD a month today). Can't be true without the very basics, am I right?

Playing on the recent "Classic" is undoubtedly a cardinal sin that gets kicked you out of the club for even thinking about.

Is there a dress code? Like 2004 trendy fashion of double-denim and tracksuits? How much lore one must be able to recite verbatim from the game?

Literally every single person crying rates are 5x have no answer once people point out you can change it to 1x if you want. If you want to level up at 1x then go ahead, you can do it. Why is it a problem? Are you angry people will level up faster than you? You feel you are wasting your time if there is 5x but you are not taking it? Is like you want an "authentic experience" but not actually play it.

The closest I've seen them come to an answer is "people will level past the point I'm comfortable ganking them faster...I need them to be stuck at the levels I'm comfortable ganking for longer or I'm not going to get my "fun" (at their expense). And honestly, I'm happy when such toxic ideas don't get catered to.

Rather than *****ing and moaning that the server isn't catering to your demands how about you die mad about it and not play. Wow players are the absolute worst people ever. Always convinced they know better but can't fathom not doing something they don't like

Honestly doubt that. Every time I can get a few hours to play, I'm finding at least something to be fixed. Sometimes it's just a NPC that's standing still when he should be patrolling, or a quest that's not working correctly...but there's still a lot of rough edges that need to be ironed out. Get on and help us iron them out so we can launch faster?
