What do you mean it is client side ?

As you might now, the is a recurent bug playing here where you can not select anything when an area of effect annimation is being played between you and your target, like arcane explosion, holy nova, ice cone...

The bug was reported here : https://www.warmane.com/bugtracker/report/118525

But got closed as it was classified as client side. The short answer tells me that you should accept it and play like this or just don't play at all.

Well, this one is now game breaking.

Can someone enlighten me about the 3.3.5 client ? Is this something that existed in all 3.3.5 ?
I played vanilla before and TBC clients, and it was inimiginable to have such a thing.
Or is it related to Onyxia server only with the tweeking done to the 3.3.5 server backend? Should we change the client ?

To be honnest, this going to be a big a blocker if nothing is done to, and definitly not a pleasant experience for tanking and pvp.

The answer means that this isn't something that is done by the server, but how the client on your computer handles that situation.
There's nothing to be "fixed" on the server in such case.
