Why can't we have a chat moderator?
A (long dead) Server that I used to play on (that I wont mention) hired several players as volunteer chat moderators that would enforce rules on naming or chat violations on the fly. I mean- it wasnt 24/7 but it was most of the time a mod on to kick or ban people from chat when they do things like spamming legendaries or doing the ****-link spam or saying inappropriate things.
I wish it was easier to just upload screenshots to these forum so you can see when 1 person would type 'N' and someone else would type 'I' and then a 3rd person will type 'G' and so on... having to use imgur or photobucket or whatever is such a hassle.
The chat mods wouldnt have full gm powers but they could mute people and remove them from global chat and also if necessary, it would be easier for the chat mod to submit reports to the actual gms on the fly if they see someone breaking rules. If there was a chat mod- at least 100 people would get name violation in 24 hours guaranteed. If it was something as easy as right-click a player to "Report name" I would do it. But more often than not... its too much hassle to report all the nasty names. In-game tickets take so many days.... If I make a ticket for one person, I would have to update the ticket once or twice an hour to add more and more nasty names. As it stands now I already had to take away from my play time to log into the site and I dont even know if I'm in the right thread to make this post but its taking 10-15 minutes everytime I need to make a post about something. It would take longer if I have to figure out what site ya'll use for screenshots and how to submit a screenshot and get that sorted out.
It would be far more efficient to just have a chat moderator. People would be submitting fewer tickets because it would be handled by volunteers on the fly.
And people would be scared to talk trash in global if they had a nasty name they would get flagged so fast and people would be less likely to name inappropriate things in the first place.

It would be far more efficient if you'd get some skin to not get offended by anybody speaking some random things. And no, your claim about "rampart" racism and toxicity in game chats is made up. Or you somehow joined only custom toxic channel made for lulz.

Suggested before many times, always denied. Staff has no time to look at chat to mute people. Nor have they shown any interest for chat moderation by proxy. We can report the names and messages, which is quite fast and easy to do.
