1. Annoying issue with modded client

Hello guys I came back to warmane after I spent some time playing wotlk classic. Didn't like the atmosphere; it's much more lively here! The old graphics though were killing it a little bit for me so I downloaded this client: https://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=433477 (the all-in-one thing as I'm too lazy to play with files)

I absolutely love it! All creatures and models look nice and neat on my machine although there is a REALLY ANNOYING ISSUE for me where I get these mini random glitches (0.5 sec freezes). They happen randomly and I might enter a melee in Wintergrasp with 50+ people and not get it but most consistent scenario where it happens is while I am running on mount and jumping if I click on something (player, mob etc) I get the glitch. That can also happen in a multi player fight and cost me a death. I read a lot, downloaded Large Address Aware and used it on the wow.exe but I still get them. Then I read a lot more and saw that my WOW folder keeps reverting to read only no matter what I do. Followed all the guides, including Command Prompt commands and what not - damn folder still reverts no matter what user/administrator account I'm in(I've given them all every single permission) I just saw that my WOW.EXE file is actually NOT READ ONLY. So my question is if the .EXE itself is not read only, is Large Address Aware supposed to do it's job (Then I should look elsewhere).

I just really like how the game looks with this client and since I mostly play world PVP I would really hate it if I had to revert to the original client.

P.S Issue persists with all addons disabled.

    MUCH APPRECIATE ANY HELP GUYS!

  2. saw this and there are numerous other, more severe possible issues that I wouldn't want to have to deal with.
My game runs smoothly with no fps drops and stutters, a lot of people would play the way it is it's just bugging the crap out of me when it glitches.

  3. Update: the stutter also happens when I click Spellbook for the first time and then I can toggle it without lag. I also hear a noise from my laptop sometimes when the glitch happens such as activation of some hardware (quiet high tone “wiink”) just like when your computer was in “Idle” and you activate it with a task.

    I have

    i7-8750H CPU
    16GB RAM
    GeForce GTX 1079
