Realms Onixia - Mercenary mode for battlegrounds

Due to the slight faction imbalance the horde que for Alterac Valley can easily take 4 hours or more.

Would it please be possible to enable mercenary mode for the battlegrounds on the Onixia realm so everyone who wants to play a BG can actually do so?

Could you please share warmane their stance on this?
Would you prefer that we reroll a new character for the faction that does not have a que instead?

Some clarification on this would be greatly appreciated so the players can know what to expect when they pick a faction.

Isn't it already in place? I got onto Horde side once as an Ally, and when I right click BG icon on minimap I get a pop up window for merc mode settings

I've seen that before too but now i am sitting in queue for 1h already and there is no mercenary option. i guess there is some limit on how many players can queue as mercenary, even though that would be kinda contra productive because the more people queue, the more and faster bgs we get. even if it's 100% horde vs horde - better than waiting forever.

You need to set as Mercenary mode on the website My Account / Settings before you can see the option ingame

What if I play a shaman? it will still throw me on alliance side? Because they can't create a shaman...
