is there a way to retrive charachter as not been on for ages and apparantly there was a clean up that i didnt know about due to not being online for ages

Only inactive level 50 or below characters are possibly gone. Inactive higher level characters have had their names removed.
Those characters that have been removed due to inactivity can't be restored. Unnamed characters just need a new name before being able to play them again. Rename might require few attempts.
