Banned for doing the right thing?

I don't understand how i've been banned for ninja looting when I gave the item the "Tarnished Elven Ring" to the 2nd highest roller. I accidently pressed need instead of greed but I did the right thing and gave the item to the 2nd highest roll! I've played Warmane for nearly 6 years and I just don't understand why I am being punished when I gave the item to the intended player. I highly respect the players and the Warmane server itself. I love to the play the game and you guys are taking that from me for doing the correct thing! I traded the item to Prosit the rogue he rolled a 93. If I could speak with a GM I would really appreciate it! Who ever screeshot me you can clearly see Prosit won with 2nd highest roll. Accidents happen but I didn't take advantage of it, I clearly did the right thing. I don't need that ring at all I am a Resto Sham named Tmoney and am nearly best in slot. You guys should clearly see that it was not intended and I don't deserve and 10 day banned. Please get in contact with me I just want to play man.
