Reduce workload on in-game GMs with these suggestions

Before you flame me hear me out:

1). Change the default exp rate on icecrown to x1 exp, simply rightclick the exp bar to change to x7.
    Reasoning:
This gives new players the ability to adjust their experience based on their own necessities, instead of having newbies think x7 exp is normal, often being stuck at a level too high for them, without the ability to train their abilities.

    2). In-Game Rule Book
    What is it:
Give an in-game readable book to all new players called "RULES" with Warmane's rules, all the custom content Warmane provides including instructions on how to adjust the exp rates, and how the shop works.
    Reasoning:
This gives new players an understanding of how Warmane works and will significantly reduce the total number of incoming tickets. This should also give players a better understanding of what information to collect when submitting tickets.

I agree with you, also to add in that book "Please, learn raid mechanics so you won't get kicked, blacklisted and murdered".

    1. Icecrown is a x7 experience rate server with the option for lowering it, not the other way around. No idea how could changing it "reduce the GM workload" in any way. They wouldn't do anything about it aside perhaps answering some ticket, and having the server work the opposite of what it's advertised as would just increase that.

    2. That sort of information is found on the Forum, which is meant to be the source of information like that. Players take the Forum as "optional" at their own risk of breaking rules or failing to be informed of changes and updates. Plus if someone wouldn't seek out getting informed here, what makes you think they would read an in-game item, when they go there to play the game instead.

    !). Answer:
Benefit: This helps newbies brand new to wow to get to learn the game at a proper pacing before adjusting their exp rates to x7 once they break free of the tutorial zones. A little longer in the tutorial zones gives the new player more insight in the game.
Drawback: Veterans click their exp bar back to x7 (which they already do) when they're setting up their new characters UI, add-ons and more.

2). Most download the game and play, disregarding the forums entirely. An in-game rule book only serves to help educate the player further.
Directing them to the forums for the most up-to-date information would only serve to increase educating the player base AND driving traffic to the forums.

    1. The server is x7. Newbies can lower the rates if that's what they want. Lowering is an option, not the main goal and not the other way around.

    2. They ignore our main source of information by their own choice. Players are informed to use the Forum for server information, and plenty of new players do so just fine, so it's not a matter of them being unaware.

New characters could just get a server message to visit the website in order to familiarize themselves with in-game rules, and visiting forum to say hi to the community or something of the sorts.
