I used to run with some HD patches for the original WotLK client, but I kept getting random crashes mainly in Dala or anywhere that had a lot of players and spell effects.

I doubt the crashes were hardware related because I run with a pre-built desktop from 2018 - fairly good components (unless comparing to newer builds today).

I had the Large Address Aware attached to the Wow.exe as well.

I recently reinstalled so I could quit dealing with the crashes, which, they have pretty much been fixed.

Can anyone vouch for any good HD patches with Cata water and lava included, that do not crash that often? If so, please point me in the right direction of where I can find them.
