If only you knew how many times I tell someone in RDF "you should Need on XYZ, it's not appropriate for you, plus it's bannable" and I get some ****ty, ******ed, cocky response, most commonly "do you need it bro?!! if no need, stop cry, play game". At which point I take the screenshot and just finish the dungeon, taking more screenshots as needed.
Exactly. MOST, not ALL. When you actually need a piece of gear and some jackass ends up stealing it from you, it doesn't feel nice, does it? The one piece you're farming the dungeon for, and then he has the audacity to say "stop crying". Like Obnoxious said above, "if it's 5g and useless, don't go out of your way to steal it in the first place?!".
You're not meant to Need on whatever your eyes see. If it's for your offspec or for your gold spec - ****ing press the Greed button!

The warning is already in there being rules against it, which all players are assumed to have read and understood.
Then most people would have no reason to roll Need in stuff that belongs to another role and get banned when reported.
