Is it Safe to Stream Warmane on Twitch?

I have a friend who is a Twitch partner who likes to play WoW.

I have been trying to convince her to play Warmane with us on Lordaeron, but she is convinced that Blizzard will DMCA strike her channel just for streaming it, and says they are "very aggressive" about it.

We both stream on a private server for a different MMO called Final Fantasy XI and got DMCA strikes on our channel (along with about 20 other people for the same reason). It was concluded that these DMCA claims were fraudulently submitted by an anonymous troll after discovering that the contact information was all fake and that Twitch had very lax reporting system that basically allows anyone to file false DMCA claims (even though it is a crime.) This happened back in December and hasn't been a problem since.

My question is: Does Blizzard actually take the time and effort to look for WoW private server streamers and file DMCA strikes against them? Are there any notable cases of this happening?

It feels unlikely that Blizzard would waste time and money harassing a streamer with 100 viewers in their chat at most over streaming on a private server. How could I convince my friend that is safe?

Twitch generally are aggressive about it. The moment they get any amount of viewers in the double digits, they'll notice. Other streaming platforms are more ideal. If other platforms aren't an option, then I'd suggest playing off stream. As for Blizzard's actual interest in it, they tend to not get involved.

Stream on KICK or TROVO, but since TROVO became trash, my suggestion is to stream on KICK.

Hey everyone, I am new here but I found this discussion relatable.

In my view, streaming Warmane on Twitch can be risky because Twitch has policies against streaming private servers.
While some people are not getting issues, it is possible to get DMCA strikes especially if your channel grows.
To prevent these risks I suggest you to use KICK or Trovo.
