Hello, my qustion is very short and simple, so in rdf you are supposed to need roll anything that u "actually need" otherwise it is considered as ninja. So my question is, do lockboxes fall in that category too? For example if i am different class any other than rogue, lets say im warrior, can i need the lockbox. Should i have blacksmith (because of skeleton key than open locks) or i doesen't matter. Does rogue have the right in general to need it as a class item? Can someone break it down to me please, and can you link me community rules about looting in raid/dungeons. Also what if someone already need on it, can i need after him , would that be a problem. Thank you.

Lockboxes have nothing to do with your class.
In my experience, usually everyone hits GREED, which is the proper way, but sometimes there are dudes who press NEED, then everyone presses NEED in that dungeon.

Yes exactly, i usually greed, but whenever i see someone needing it i do it as well, since i got rog and i can open them.

It would be nice if you could only greed them, for added fairness. There's no penalty needing one either. It doesn't count as class item, if it did, only rogues would have option to need it. Just like only scribes can roll need on books of glyph masteries, while others have to settle for greed.
Wasting GM's time over lockboxes would just be stupid.
