I would like to express my concern regarding the current battleground matchmaking system. I have noticed that once we obtain some PvP gear (Icecrown Server), we end up playing against the Blockrock server alliance, where players get instant lvl 80 with full Relentless gear and weapons. This situation discourages new players starting from level 1 on the Icecrown server.
Lately, I have been participating in battlegrounds and have observed that most of the alliance players are from the Blockrock server. I believe it would be fairer if Blockrock server players competed against Blockrock server Horde players only. They have a significant advantage when facing opponents playing grinding hard to get some pvp gears or lower-tier PvP gear.
I am feeling very frustrated because this current system is making the game less enjoyable and feels like a waste of time due to the imbalance. ( lost 10 out of 10 games )
I kindly ask that you address this issue to create a more balanced and enjoyable battleground experience for all players.
I agree with you, but it’s unlikely to happen. They’ll just tell you to play Alliance.
I play both Alliance and Horde, and Alliance wins most of the time. As an Alliance player, I can hardly remember losing any games. But when I switch to Horde, it’s a different story entirely.
Currently, if you want to win in PvP, go Alliance. If you want to win in PvE, go Horde.
When I play Alliance, I often have 8+ wins in a row, sometimes even more. On the Horde side, it’s loss after loss. I’m not sure what’s wrong with Horde players.
I suggest keeping Mercenary Mode enabled if you play Horde, so you have a chance to be on the Alliance side and win.
As a healer in Warsong Gulch, playing Alliance, my team knows exactly what to do—taking the flag and protecting it. But on the Horde side, despite my best efforts to heal them, they just focus on fighting in the middle and neglect the flag.
