WotLK Killing people in faction headquarters

I never kill people weaker than me in leveling zones or in places like Shadow Vault or Argent Vanguard, because i feel like thats a *******/coward behavior. But everyday i got killed by people much stronger than me in this places around the world and i think like "Bro, why that guy just killed me? I literally didnt did anything to him, but that human warrior just went and killed me in like 3 secs, and start sitting in my body". And then he keeps waiting for me to ressurect to kill me again, all that in Shadow Vault. I never saw this guy before, never did anything to him, but for some reason he decided to just kill me and keep doing this.
So i'd like to ask, when you kill someone around the world, that clearly and visually have much weaker equipment than you, do you earn something, like honorpoints or gold?

Also, when you kill someone in the factions headquarters, like the ebon blade and argent cruzade headquarters in icecrown, do you lost reputation with that factions? because, you are killing members of that faction in their own territory, right? Or you can just murder every other player in that place, that are doing missions, without any punishment?
