WotLK No activation of the Val'anyr mace

Hello,

I just bough the "Val'anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings" legendary mace on website for 120 coins for my disc priest "Dwarx" (from Blackrock) and the weapon perk never activate, with any healing spell.

Is this a bug? I really feel scammed. This is normal that don't work with disc priest?? I'm so disapointed. I waited so long to have it...

First of all buying Val'anyr on Discipline Priest is a mistake by itself. Discipline Priest depends on spell power and spell power only. Your main hand you should use is Terenas HC. Val'anyr is useful if you decide to play Holy Priest for battleground but even then you will need PVE gear otherwise it won't be much helpful anyways. If you cast heals on yourself it will take some time to proc, in battlegrounds with group healing it procs often enough, then again you play Disc Priest and as i said you most used spell is Power Word : Shield which scales with spell power and you just lost 200+ spell power with Val'anyr. Also Disc Priest doesnt have an AOE spell that you can spam and be viable to make Val'anyr proc worth

You're right, but I think it could be worth the 200 spell power, I've read a lot of topics on how Val'anyr works and I know that it's not very optimized for disc priest but I think that there can be a very interesting synergy with the aegis talent shield.

Unfortunately I can't even try, it doesn't activate. Has the weapon been disabled on Blackrock?

It procs all the time. Issue is disc in general with the mace. You do mostly absorbs, not direct healing so lower times it could proc. I have it on my hpal. Always procs for me.

Do you play on Blackrock? Maybe it's disabled on this server?

Sry for the post, finally i just was full unlucky because i tryed on a lot of ppl that needed heal and no proc, but i tryed today on myself and it work.
