Technical Bug With Transmog?

I'm trying to transmog dagger main-hand (Starshard Edge) appearance to Bloodsurge, Kel'Thuzad's Blade of Agony also main-hand but sword. Tried multiple times failed over and over again "This item cannot be transmogrified with that appearance.". I've had impression that all main-handed weapons can transmog to any other main hand weapon, or was I wrong?

But I sadly missed the "answer" / Question of community manager... So, here I am again, hoping that if its bug, it gets fixed.
It's a mage character, I can equip both daggers, and swords, so I don't know where exactly is the issue of transmoging it since you can transmog maces to axes/swords and vice versa.
Ah right, its Icecrown server, forgot to mention...

No, there's no bug. The transmogrification rules have been the same since the system was created in 2016.

Heh, read it. Any way to suggest to make daggers viable for tmog on swords? since we got maces<>axes<>swords, why not daggers to swords? since its spell power dagger it makes sense that u can tmog it to other spell power 1 hand/main hand sword, its kind of same, right? For example its not rogue tmogging spell power weapon to look like mage or spell caster, just mage trying to look like cooler mage. :D
If there's no way to make suggestion or no chance of it changing then I thank you for the answer, that would be it. :)

Well, can't say it makes me sad since I already gave up on tmog that I wanted, but it doesn't make me happy that's for sure.
