Technical new user, can't create a new character - getting disconnected every time

I downloaded your client and logged in, any attempt to create a character results in disconnecting from the server and character is not created
tried on multiple realms. and if i wait too long - it will disconnect me before creating character.
no luck so far. internet and everything else works fine
