WotLK Characters now showing with C_numbers names

Hi there! I hadn't logged in for a long time and now that I finally got a hold of this account again I can see my characters, but their names are all changed to C_numbers. Also I had a couple of characters in Icecrown that I can't see at all, even though it shows that I have 2 of them, when I go into the realm it shows nothing. I'm guessing some change was made in the server during my time off that made it this way (It's been years lmao). Anyways, I'm here to ask how I would go about to change these names back to their originals. It'd be nice to get back whatever characters I had in Icecrown as well, although I'm pretty sure they're not as important anyways lol.

Your characters have lost their names because you have not played them in a while.

To give them a new name, log in using the game client. If the names they had are still available you will be able to use them.

Those are characters that have lost their names during inactivity cleanup. Try to log in with them and it will ask you to choose a new name. You might get an error the first time you try to log in with the character. If that happens, try again.

Alright all I had to do was pick a character and I was able to rename it lol I thought it was going to be a long process

No, inactivity clean-up removals aren't reversible.
