Lordaeron quest the tome of valor bug

i came on lvl 20 today and I started the mission, I spoke to Daphne I died and when I went to do it again she couldn't do it again, and then the mission disappeared and I can't get it back from the NPC

I dug around and found this advice from 2018.

It is very likely that the event is still active because a player died while doing the next quest. Try to kill any defias npc that are in that area, otherwise wait for her to reset

If that doesn't work then try opening a GM ticket in-game. Keep in mind that a GM will usually only help with core issues and bugs should be reported on the bug tracker.
