1. New player to Warmane Icecrown

Good morning everyone. I am on I a new player on Icecrown and was wondering if any guilds take new players? I am trying to get to 80 and dont have gold at all but was wondering if any guilds out there are helpful in helping newbies like myself.

Also, how do new people get gold? Do you just do the conventional proffs?

    Thanks for the help.

  2. Hi, yes, there many guilds that will accept anyone regardless of level, gear, experience, but don't expect them to give you gold, that won't happen.

For a new player I recommend to complete as many Northrend quests as possible because they give pretty good chunk of gold.
Completing 50 quests will get you minimum 2.5k gold + all the greens/blues/cloth/junk that you will collect during questing will also generate you additional 1k at least, so 3.5k in several hours for a new player is pretty decent, probably better than gathering professions.

  3. Hello there, for farming gold you can take herbalism and farm mats in Borrean Tundra, you can get faster and easier gold.

  4. For me, I went straight for mining and skinning. As I’m leveling up and knocking out quests, I’m also gathering mats so when I head back to town to skill up, I can throw some stuff on the auction house too.

NEVER BEG FOR GOLD! Sure, it's easy to just type it out, but in the time you spend begging, you could be out there gathering and questing, making way more gold than you'd ever get from begging and avoiding all the hate that comes with it.
