Help a new player out

Hi. New player to Warmane (Icecrown).

1.Is there a way to save the video settings? Everytime I open the game everything is back on default. Gotta manually edit everything back. Also getting the contract from blizzard gotta accept everytime.

2. What dps meter are ya'll using? I tried recount but it doesnt show up in game...
