Game version Addons for Onyxia server

Hello,

I was wondering for which game version should i download the addons for the Onyxia server?

I have a couple of addons that are from the Legacy-WoW website, which are all 1.12 versions, and i also have some addons that are 3.3.5 or so that work the same as the 1.12 ones.

But now when i try to add new 1.12 ones, it either says that they are incompatible or it just doesn't load at all.

Also, when i try to download 3.3.5 addons, the game recognises them (meaning when i am at the character selection, at the bottom left i can see the addons there), but when i enter the game they are not working - as they do not exist technically.

So i was wondering as mentioned above which game version addon should i download, since the client is technically WotLK but the game itself is Vanilla.

Right now mostly WOTLK 3.3.5 version of addons works best on onyxia.

same issue here cant use any add ons..this has been the case since the server started alot of posts about it. makes the game much harder to play without as one cant even track rend or ms on targets...

i tried to install classic V, TBC, and wrath add ons but none worked
i was also told dont use curseforge have to do manual installs and only wrath patch adds on would work..


some people do have working add ons not sure the issue but manual install probably has something to do with it.

It's not rocket science

when you log into the game it TELLS YOU the game version in the lower left corner of the screen

Neither accurate or helpful.

Yes the client is 3.3.5a, but the wow client is emulating vanilla>tbc before getting to wotlk. Which means several elements are causing issues. Paladin buffs for example. Spells, loot, talents.

I have encountered many issues using 3.3.5a addons but there are some clever people out there who have made some onyxia specific versions which are working.

WotLK Dr. Damage produces lua-errors, but there is also a version on Felbite for TBC. Problem: Same name, same folder! What now?
