WotLK Addon: Badboy Ccleaner not working

I recently installed Badboy Ccleaner v6.012 for WoW version 3.3.5, which is supposed to remove chat entries that includes any word in the word list, so I could clean up my global chat. The addon appears to be having no effect. Has anybody got a working version or an addon that does similar filtering? I'm trying to remove some of what I'd rather skip from global - including buying/selling, keywords for guild recruiting, keywords for languages I don't use, etc. Any assistance would be appreciated.
