Technical Turn off sound [Goblin Weather Machine - Prototype 01-B]

Hello,

Since this seasonal event started a lot of players has gotten their hands on the vanity item [Goblin Weather Machine - Prototype 01-B].
I find it's sounds very annoying and disturbing. Could someone please show me a way on how to disable the sound of this item.
I'd be deeply grateful.

Yes you can stop the sound you must
go to the Wow folder
go to Data
make a new folder and name it "Sound"
in the folder make a new Wav. file with the name Goblin_Weather_Machine_Lightning.wav
in-game you will hear the Cloud but without the annoying lighting

now I am trying to add sound to this file so that there is some other effect to it but it seems like it won't work.

Just open notepad and straight up Save As... -> name.wav
Make of few copies of the empty .wav file you just created and rename them accordingly.
Put them in the folder structure you see in the screenshot.
Done.
