Let's just be clear here. I don't think I have any special privileges here, What I think that is if there is clearly a shared sentiment among the player base on an issue that is potentially hurting both our player experience and the reputation of the server, that its perfectly reasonable to expect a comment from the community manager. You know, as its the role of the community manager to manage the community.
When the first comment you get from a community manager on a post where so many people are saying the same thing is a tantrum, rather than a meaningful reply, that's going to cause further frustration.
Don't misunderstand, i'm not saying for one second im right and someone else is wrong. This is a forum, its expected we can raise issues and discuss them in a sensible way. And its also expected that should an issue have enough support from the community, that a community manager makes a comment on behalf of the dev team one way or another.
If it's "Sorry its not changing" okay then
if it's "We are looking into options" great!
Or "the realm is now PVE" WAHOO
But I repeat, when the only reply you get is antagonistic, not only is it unprofessional, it's honestly embarrassing.
so many people are saying the same thing is a tantrum,
They are still a small minority, and look at where Blizzards WoW went because their glorious Community Manager thought it would be a good idea to go with the loudest people because of what 6 of 5.000 People say must be everybodies opinion.
Again: You can ask for a response, but don´t demand one. You kept demanding, you got cocky and you got the response that you deserve. Play dumb games, win dumb prices.
I rather go with a human, direct Staff like this over a suite that licks everybodies bum and never speak up to people who are just straight up arrogant because they think they have the right to be for some reason.
