1. TBC blackrock quests suggestion, thnx for fixing arathi one btw

    Hi guys what about leting us do all the quests on same time?

    I mean swich Kara quests from linear questline to open questline, so you can do all quests on same time.

    So if you manage to kill one guy with a berserker buff in the first bgs of the week it will count for you, for instance.

  2. After doing a few quests again on my alts i was hit by a post-BG clarity and i have to say, these quests just suck. It's unfortunate because i can see the effort you guys put into it with the custom RP quest texts/stories for each boss and everything but this just doesn't work for an arena realm, imo.

    Among other issues, It's TOO many quests. Should be like 4-5 max for the whole thing (kara+mag+gruuls)
    I think you guys correctly recognize that it's important to not make it too easy for the blackrock players to get pve loot and not create imbalance in gear between onyxia and blackrock players. So having pve loot come from boxes and have RNG just like in raids is not a bad idea.
    Just make the quests be based around arena more than BGs. And make those based around BG's be more generic to stimulate activity and keep BG's alive.

    Example: 5 quests chain.
    step 1 - win x1 of every BG (or 2-3 diff ones at random each week) reward - box with random loot from trash mobs and bosses up to curator
    step 2 - turn in 25k honor. reward - box w random loot from curator+illhoof+aran+chess
    step 3 - win X amount of games in 2v2, possibly above X mmr or smth. idea being it's based on 2v2. reward - box with random loot from netherspite, nightbane and price
    step 4 - based on soloQ. reward - box with random loot from maulgar + gruul
    step 5 - based on 3v3. reward - box with random loot from magtheridon

    Kinda looks like a nice idea, need someone from the staff to see this.
    3's is dead and will be dead as long as there is no incentive. Right now 3's hour provides 10k honor, which is like 2-3 bgs, and only 1 hour during the entire week. 2's is a bit more alive, but since ppl are busy farming those really unbalanced quests on 1-2-3 alts, they don't really have time to actually play any 2's and just be farming pve gear hoping to get some drops. The time consumption in comparison is crazy. Ppl in full premades are stuck with those quests for 5+ hours, and even then, it's not entirely up to you. Like win AV with both mines, winning AV is not up to you or you 5 man premade. Win AB with 5 flags, a 5 man premade can't do that solo if you are focing good ppl. Those quests are the exact opposite of what PVE raiding is, where you actually gather a bunch of people that know what they are doing and you kill stuff, everything is in your Control, unlike being matched with 35 other people and hoping they actually perform. Instead those quests should be more oriented towards arena, where you actually have control, in 2v2 and 3v3, it all depends on your and your teammates skill. It would actually be similar to raiding. If you suck, you will not kill Prince or w/e and in here the equivalant will be you will not get the loot by not doing the x required arena stuff for the quest. Some easier bosses could have quests in general, that could be time consuming (like as mentioned before - Win X amount of bgs) but something that is general and not specific like win with 5 Flags. This is a pvp server, people don't want to be grinding bgs for weeks and weeks, and then doing the same on your alt. Soon Onyxia will stop doing bgs because they will have the honor gear and it will be just Blackrock doing bgs. Also, as ppl get more and more gear, every PVE run on onyxia will be faster and smoother, meanwhile here we are stuck with the same quest on day 1 and day 100. At least make those quests more arena focused so it promotes activity and not the other way around.
    Also, the questline is suuuper non linear, one quest requires to win AB with 5 flags, and the next requires to get all buffs in WSG. It's like comparing Apples and oranges.

  4. Some quests are VERY HARD to do cause they dont depend on you or your skill. How are u suposed achieve a win with 5 bases for instance? I played 10 arathi and they were all balanced matches no chance or geting a kill on a player using berserkers on wsg, what if my enemies decide to do not use the buff? also in case they decide to use it, what if your just not there when they grab it cause ur focusing in winning?

    I wanted to have some alts but its impossible with this kind of quests.

  5. Worth mentioning, ppl from Onyxia deliberately screw you up in AV when doing the mine quest. There is no way to defend a 3k mob, they see blackrock players and they instantly go to the mines with a rogue and just ambush the boss and kill it and then it bugs out permanently and you are just ****ed. This has to be changed
