whoever decided to merge servers... YIKES. As horde its absolutly horrible to queue against 10 blackrock players that WILL outdamage you by 50k easily. I was enjoying bg but started to wonder why i was losing every single game. Behold, if u get 5+ blackrock players in the enemy team its insta defeat. Also, sadly in tbc u really use pvp gear for pve specially as a tank. I wish i could just queue for a day straight and never have to queue bg's again, but yeah, thanks for making the bg experience so freaking horrible. Cheers.

If you want to play on Onyxia there is no problem. Level up, there is x5 for brand new players.
Whoever allowed to merge Blackrock with Onyxia is total POS and should be removed. Great way to ruin nice server. Whats next? People from old Naxx servers enetring Ony with full BiS gear? GOGO!

I've been playing on Onyxia since classic. I bought all the pvp gear before the portal opened. When the portal opened, the first season launched, I was BIS on the first day of the season, in full pvp gear, 300 resilience and wiping out all the blackrock players in one hit. I went to Blackrock to see what's up and realised that this server is for me. Instead of grind gold, reputations, dungeons, and raids (not only do I hate the pve aspect, but I don't always have the option to be online for 3 hours without going out to raid), I can get all of that with the same grind, but on BG. And it's not faster by any means. It may take you longer to complete one quest than it would to complete the entire Karazhan raid. And you'll get a random item that you can't even put on yourself. Because as reward for quest you got bow, and you are Druid. I’ve done more than 15 difficult quests and from all of these quests I got only 1 ring for me. Other rewards I even can’t use. If you think everything is easy on Blackrock, try it yourself. I've been farming BGs and arenas for 4 days straight now, 14 hours a day literally, I've already farmed about 200000 honor. And I'm still far away from my character on Onyxia. Look at the players on BG. 90% of Blackrock players are naked guys who don't even have 100 resilience. 90% of Onyxia players are full pvp geared guys with 250+ res. Because they bought it at 60 lvl. Blackrock players are just as outraged at the injustice, Onyxia players have a huge gear advantage. It's hard for us to catch up to you guys. You are ready to play arena, and we have to waste 30 playtime hours for grinding gear you already have. And yes, on Onyxia you have full proffs. We don’t have even a chance to learn a professions. Cuz professions still not realised on Blackrock. Your warriors running with Deep Thunder, ours running with 68lvl weapons. We even don’t have 70lvl blue gear as start gear. Just check it yourself before you say anything.

Explain to me then, dear friend, why EVERY F***G BG, my Onyxia team is ALL 5-6k HP, and the enemy BLACKROCK team is ALL 8-10k HP? My team can't break through the priest's shield!!! Just becouse he OVERGEARED. In 2 days of active farming bgs, I won ONLY 5 BGS! so pls shut your mouth and play your blackrock only with BLACKROCK!!! IN 2 f****g days, I bought only 4 PVP items, he tells me about how strong Onyxia is... Ugh...

Well, as a player who has a character in both places, I will say... You are partly correct, but also a lot of cunning, since there are things for which you need to do a lot of grinding on Onyxia. I won't go into details, but I agree that farming on blackrock is more fun and easier than on Onyxia. Perhaps adding the same heroic quests for Onyxia would solve this problem? I saw that people wrote "heroics are very heavy". Maybe you don't need to remove blackrock, but Equalize the chances for happiness))) and yes, the BS mace for blackrock brews could be added at least for honor. I think the biggest problem is that Onyxia players can't easily complete heroics, and that's a badge, farm, + initial epic, gear

what you say is false or maybe it only concerns old-time players of the server. for new or casual players like me the situation is different, I am very far from the bis, I took the blue pvp set hoping it could help me and I find myself in pvp with people with 310 res full bis.
I spent hundreds of gold to put stones on a set that is of no use to me, hours and hours of play farming gold in vain when then on blackrock with 1200honor I can put top enchantments and with 5k honor top stones.
I tried to make a character on blackrock and in just one day I surpassed my character on onyxia, with only 3 open chests I am stronger than a character with 40 days of life.
obviously I stopped playing on onyxia, I don't like being made fun of, thanks for killing the server for casual players like me

That's what I'm talking about. There's no way Onyxia is a casual player's paradise. Regardless of whether there is Blackrock or not at all. Casual play appears around the legion addon. All previous expansions are wild grind for 24 hours a day. You either devote at least 5 hours to the game every day and make progress, or come in once every couple of days just to kill time.
The fact that you haven't got BIS pvp gear on Onyxia for at least 2 months is your problem, not the problem of the new server. Those who wanted to, got all the necessary to play in TBC even before the opening of the portal. And don't talk about the cost of sockets. They cost 20gold a piece. 20gold is to sell 2 green items or do 1 quest. It's faster than winning a BG.
I agree that it will take longer on Onyxia to create a new character, or for a new player to start the game. You will need to spend about 24 playtime hours first to get 70lvl, then about 30 hours to get a pvp gear. But that's the whole cosy atmosphere of real TBC content. You can have wpvp fights, you can gank, you can dilute the routine with a PvE aspect. You can buy the item you need by going on a goldbid raid. We don't have all that. But we don't need it. We can only spend our hours on BG and arenas. But in the same way, if I want to create a new character on Blackrock now, I will suffer the same way about 30 hours of game time, until I will get pvp gear and can fell myself good in BG and arenas. I'll just skip lvl-upping part of the game. Personally, I'd rather spend a few days on BG to get the item I want than spend just one day in pve. Because I like pvp and I don't like pve.
Stop crying about someone getting useless stuff without spending time on it like you. For BG and arena play, the stuff that Blackrock players get at startup is absolutely useless. Absolutely all of them need to be changed. But if you, like me, don't need full freedom of action, don't need the PvE aspect, don't need the full atmosphere of the game as it's designed, and only PvP content is enough for you, what's stopping you from stopping crying and switching to Blackrock like I did?

Would love an opt-out option so you can just play against Onyxia players if thats what you want. There are enough players there to queue against, and even if there weren't, its their choice to sit in a long *** queue time. Better that than to play against fully geared Blackrock players.

Only on blackrock it is more fun due to the easier availability of Gear and consumables) you are right, many players lie for personal gain and extend their fan as long as possible, I have already written more than 1 time. I personally bought red sockets on Onyxia auction 4 days ago at 20g a piece. Maybe something has changed these days, haven't checked.
A person will always find 1000 reasons to cry that someone else has a better and easier life because of their own laziness.
I'm speaking as someone who played on Onyxia, sold a character for coins and moved to Blackrock. Sometimes I think about going back to Onyxia, but the thought that there's nothing to do there in the pvp aspect puts me off. It's not about the server, it's about the concept of the game. I played on tbc classic and the only thing to do when I bought all the right stuff was to create a new character. It was the same here. I already had all the items available for purchase from the first day of the season start and had nothing else to do but play 10 arena games once a week for getting arena points each Wednesday. Blackrock has quests and other reasons to keep playing a character even if you've already got BIS. Of course, that's if we're only talking about the pvp aspect.
