I have a question about reporting violations of game rules.
If I catch the Auction House bot, find out the process of what exactly it does, get it to tell me and explain how it does everything automatically (while trying to interact with that lvl 10 character several times), make a video with all of the above, report it 10 times via a ticket with video material (where you can also see a confession that he cheats in the game), I get 10 responses to the ticket "we will investigate player(s) mentioned in ticket" and in the end I see that that character continues with AH botting, what should I do next?
In the end, that AH bot guy talk to me back, "thank you for the youtube video, now several people have contacted me to sell them the software with which I bot AH. Thanks for the advertisement."
Instead of reacting to the first ticket and banning the character, now there will be more and more of them if he sells them a bot program.
You are annoying him and he is taking the piss out of you. But you know that, and the GM knows that, which is why his "confession" is not getting him banned.
Well, it's obvious that it's a bot because he plays with 3 characters at the same time and each of them buys e.g. (80% of the price) and sold at 100% of the price. 1 character looks for ores, 2nd for herbs, 3rd for orbs/ench mats etc... I think that if the GM determined that it does not break any rules, then it would be good to write it in the server rules, so everyone can start using it (since it is not bannable). Is that right?
