Dear administration, our guild "Rock n Troll" faced such a problem as harassment of the boss during the pool. What do we mean, every time we try to kill a boss, such as Doom Lor Kazzak, players from another guild deliberately remove their gear and taunt the boss towards themselves, thereby preventing us from making a kill. If this is a game moment then please explain how to kill this boss, if there are people and classes that interfere in the combat process.
That falls under disrupting gameplay. You just need evidence and it's a reportable offense.
The world boss spawns aren't working properly and it's being abused. The First Time Game guild has been camping it in particular and they're now selling the excess loot in global. Normally that might be fine if they were legitimately farmed, but where the spawns are predictable it's game breaking.
Stop taking it so personally, we want the world boss kill for our self; we are not griefing for enjoyment... this is completely normal TBC experience. Relax and have fun :)
No that's not right. Griefing opposing factions with PvP combat is one thing, griefing players of the same faction by pulling NPC is disrupting gameplay, not PvP. I believe that would fall under the rules of disrupting gameplay.
Why was it not the case in TBC classic on blizzard official servers then? Or any other private servers? Will leave for the GM of this server to stipulate their rules but at the moment people are just getting salty. Completely normal TBC experience.
Fyi they're banning people for disrupting gameplay / griefing on this server.
They do require video/screenshot proof though.
Too bad I was unable to capture the moment two of your members wiped our pug multiple times today.
Thanks for admitting you're doing it on purpose though, I have another screenshot from another member admitting to this on Discord earlier today.
Kinda pathetic behaviour for members of a "respectable" guild. Or what's left of that anyway.
Just because other servers failed to create an enjoyable experience, doesn't mean it shouldn't happen here.
Most guilds are not even considering doing the boss because of this, making the boss obsolete to everyone except those without any real-life commitment that would normally require a steady sleep rythm - which happens to be the ones that actually support this game the most. And even for the ones that are griefing, changing this would be positive as they stand to gain the most of it; time.
Mentioning the re-release of the official blizzard servers is an argument for change, as they did make changes to better the game, and in the eyes of most they didn't go far enough in quite a lot of areas. This would certainly be one of them!
Make it so you can't interact with the boss at all once it has been pulled/tagged by others. This way the PvP between raids may still occour, but the couple of players dedicating an unhealthy amount of time solely to ruin it for entire guilds & raids can't.
EDIT: alternatively, if you can't change how it operates, you should ban them. The fact, that they "did what they could to stop them from killing it" isn't an argument for allowing it; it simply means, that they knew griefing was the only option as horde, and that they have been willingly breaking the rules of this server. Their responses now are just an attempt at stopping the talk by trying to blame and shame their way out of being punished for griefing.
From Dec 4th. So a week ago.
Now stop crying. It's PVP server and fights for world bosses are part of the game.
We did what we could to stop you from killing it. Easy as that.
If we are talking same faction, then yea that is blatant griefing, and blizzard would even take action against it back then. If we are talking opposing factions, then I don't see the issue, unless I am missing something.

Bye.
You can call it crying, but if it is against the rules and people call you out it's just strategy. The rulebook could be the way for players to get the edge on world bosses.
We will not take action against the accounts of any player or guild who does that. You can do the same to them, try to steal a kill, overwhelm them with numbers, bore them, or try to find a diplomatic solution with them directly. The drama is also part of the game.
