WotLK Is spell penetration needed for Assassination in PvE

The title is basically self explainatory regarding what I was wondering. Since Assassination is heavily dependent on poisons and Envenom (which deal Nature damage) I was wondering if getting 2 blue spell pen gems (as my meta gem requires 2 blue gems) instead of stamina would be beneficial, or does it not affect poisons and Envenom? I tried looking for answers on Google, but can't find anything about this topic

Nope, spell pen is pvp only stat... Dont use it for pve, for assa rogue us Atck power gems ( lower gear) full haste gems ( bigger gs gear)

nope, all resistances boss have will be shredded by warlock`s curse of elements or alternative debuff
