Really bad lag and rubber banding

I just started playing on this server, and the constant lag is driving me crazy! I know for a fact that its not my connection, as I play lots of other games and even retail wow and never get anything like this. My ping is really good most of the time, but I get these 3-10 second lag spikes, especially during more peak hours it seems. I've seen a few posts of people here complaining, but I never saw any resolution. Any suggestions?
I play on East coast, verizon ISP.

Yeah I'm having the same issue here in the UK. Fibre optic high speed broadband, playing with a wired connection. No speed issues in general with my internet and never any lag when playing retail WoW or other private servers. Never used to have these lag spikes when I first started playing on Warmane during the summer either. Also been experiencing random DCs, more than usual, and my 'normal' latency is higher here than it is on retail (which is expected) and on other private servers. Currently playing on Lordaeron.

I have been pinging the warmane server (ping logon.warmane.com), and I get good responses most of the time. But when I rubber band in the game, there is a correlation of ping spikes and sometimes a time out in the ping log. Does anyone on the admin side have any suggestions or thoughts? This feels server or ISP related.

I've had that issue before while on a AT&T fiber connection from the west coast. I was only able to resolve it by using something like ExitLag or MudFish. There's a free trial available for ExitLag, and Mudfish gives you 50GB for 5 dollars, which should last you months if you only use it for Warmane.

Thanks for the feedback. Exitlag works well - I still get ping spikes, but less frequent and (more importantly) for much shorter rubber banding. I tried also with a VPN connecting to french IP and it helps but not nearly as much as Exitlag. Ill try mudfish, since like you said that should be the cheapest.

also am having this problem recently... never had this problem on warmane before and already using exitlag to lower ping but the problem is these spikes all of a sudden... like I said never happened in warmane before for me and all my other games even retail wow - and other games whos servers are also in France - nothing fixing this issue - I rang my isp and tested a long connection to France servers for ping... no lag spiked... this is literally only warmane onyxia for me... if you are a scientist you will understand scientific process.. the control has been established and it has to be a problem on warmane server side... otherwise please explain to me how that is wrong

Same issue here. UK, fibre optic high speed, rubber banding only on Warmane realms.
