I would like to ask on how to ask for help so that people won't ignore it? I am honestly coming back to play WoW slowly and I don't want to step on anyone's toes just to get what I want.
So I want to know this, if I may be so bold to ask:
- Is any guild looking to recruit a new member that's looking for social stuff and occasional help with dungeons and questing?
- How to level in a zone that is festered with opposing faction members that kill you on sight (hello, rogue from Tarren Mill)?
- How to progress these professions in Hillsbrad as a Blood Elf Paladin: Blacksmithing, Mining, Cooking.
I admit, I am socially ankward and I am afraid to ask for help because I am afraid I might get ignored or be remembered as annoying. So any help with breaking the ice and feeling better about playing WoW either with people or on my own would be heavily appreciated.
1. /join global or sit in major city and read chat. Or check recruitment section of your realm here on forums: https://forum.warmane.com/forumdisplay.php?f=243
2. Change zone, or try again hours later. Play other games, other character, queue RDF etc. instead of subjecting yourself to constant ganking.
3. I'm not sure how good Hillsbrad is with mining nodes, but generally speaking, check the mountain areas and caves. You mainly find copper and tin, some areas should have iron too. Occasional silver may be found. For cooking there's plenty of meat sources: cats, bears, spiders, turtles. Check vendors for cooking recipes.
