Doing bgs while farming on alts, doing bgs on multiple chars at the same time, just not give a damn and want to be afk.
Whatever the cause... There are just to many ppls afk, semi afk in bgs. And they are too hard to get rid of by reporting them afk

agreed. we had this problem since ony-vanilla launch and nothing changed so i wouldn't expect it to change in the future.
people know they probably won't face any punishment and even if they do - getting banned for a few days after weeks of afk farming is still "worth it" (many people have 2+ accounts anyway).
then there is blackrock with their insta 70s who can simply make a new account and keep going in case they get banned, so for them the punishment is even less relevant.

I think the problem is even if you report someone afk they get like 5 mins of leeway until they are kicked out. **** some bgs only last like 8 mins. Make the time to come back from inactive like 60s and you're kicked.

because they have nothing to lose when they are not already well geared. if they are mostly in starting gear and get banned, they can just make a new account and go again.

This is a big issue, just had a WSG with 7 rogues on our team, 4 were motionless blackrock characters. I love the server overal but this is kind of irritating

yup and you follow the rules and report them afk and they just wait 4 mins but by then the games already over before they kick them.
The afk report timer needs to be much shorter. I think its like 4 mins until they get kicked. insane imo
