Burning Crusade Heavy lag/Freezing

Hello everyone,

I have been experiencing some very heavy lag, to the point my entire computer freezes on the Onyxia server.

The lag is associated with a sudden drop in FPS (down to 5 or more and huge spike in Latency).

I have noticed this lag in some dungeons, such as the Steamvault and The Black Morass, as well as in the Shadowmoon Village (In Shadowmoon Valley) as well as the Alliance counterpart.

It gets so bad, that I have to close down WoW several times just to be able to get out of the spots where it freezes.

I play on a laptop and through a cable. My laptop has the following specs:

Processor: Intel Core i9-14900HX 2.20 GHz
RAM 32.0 GB 31.7 GB usable
I play on Windows 11 Pro
GPU NVidia GeForce RTX 4070

My internet speed never goes below 90 Mbps for both Download and Upload with Latency being less than 5 ( and around 40-50 in game)

When I played on Icecrown, I never had trouble with any lag or freezing (including big clears such as the mobs at Sindra or Lady Deathwhisper) where on Onyxia, if there are more than 7-8 mobs, it starts lagging very hard.

Open to any suggestions, as it is quite unplayable

Disable all addons and see if thats the problem, after that enable 1 by 1 addon

I tried disabling the AddOns - still the same thing.

I am not using many AddOns to begin with
