1. Consider changing no-refund item policy for bugs

I recently had Toravon on 25 man bug; that is, the boss corpse was assigned to a Master Looter that left the raid way before even an attempt to kill the boss was made. Due to this, all loot was lost. For me, this meant on my 5.2k druid tank losing the upgrade from hands T9 -> T10 sanc, huge upgrade.
Obviously I opened a ticket in-game, explained the situation, attached screenshots, etc, and the response was that you don't refund or exchange items.

I am at a loss here. Why is this policy in place? It only erodes the willingless to play in the server, I see it absolutely counter productive. Winning an item fairly in-game just to lose it because of a technical error, providing evidence that this happened and then giving it manually to the affected user seems only fair.

Anyway, just my two cents. Ideally this could be changed.

  2. Master Loot should have been set or changed by the new assigned raid lead if the previous Raid Lead left the raid. If the Raid leader was just offline then it would have been more beneficial to just remake the group before killing the boss.
Unfortunately there are ways around this problem on the player side and so I dont see why the GM's should intervene.

Should they change the No-Refund policy ALOT of players would swamp the GM's with requests on gear that they feel they deserved in every dungeon/raid setup.

  3. I understand that it's not as simple as allowing everyone for any item and any situation to let them ask for a refund, as that would put a lot of pressure on the GMs. But, given a level 80 raid that drops almost-BiS items, I would hope some kind of compromise was possible.

Are you saying it's not a bug that a raid boss can have an assigned ML that is not in the raid at all, nor did they participate in any battle? That's sounds like nonsense...
