That is exactly right, only things from these raids used in gear progression is stuff you get passively by doing weekly and Ulduar stuff bought with Points.

people dont do this raids as often because they provide gear level 226 and 239 at best. This iLvL gear can be found in HOS or POS heroic, or vote shop or just emblems.
It is also the difficulty of the raids. They arent crazy difficult but a 25 man raid can have no succes if they dont know the tactics. So it requires some effort if i may say that. After the effort, what do you get ? A verry slight increase in your gear (if the items you want drop)
Thats why people prefer doing random heroics, bg's. Toc, ICC, voteshop, auction house, profession items. Overall... not much left to get from raids like Ulduar and Naxx.

this is really a sad moment for the likes of me at least.

i expected better of the most populated server that there is.

the reason that i've made my mind to play the lich king was it to gain personal experience and ofcourse taking the pleasure of presence the raid like these, especially the ulduar and naxxramas.

and yet i cannot have it, not even with the most crowded servers, i am disappointed :|

how can people would like to play the certian expansion and yet showing the lack of interest to it's content ... like i said, it is weird.

DO NOT EVER play the Wrath of the Lich King, becuase people will hate you for it ... instead, go off play the Mists of Pandaria

in there, you could at least play these raids in solo mod, and no one, will hate you for it.

Nobody is hating you for wanting to do older content. They are simply not interested in doing it.

If you want to play those raids, you can wait until the Onyxia realm progresses to wotlk. It will progress from patch to patch (3.0 -> Naxx, 3.1 -> Ulduar, etc), so people will want to do the raids with you.

thats just how blizz designed the thing, end game contents just made ulduar and even nax unnecessary or kinda obsolete to progress your gears. though u can still get the fun out of em, just need to gather people to do the raids, which still doable.
