Last week, I joined a heroic ICC pug, only to witness firsthand how Warmane’s support system fails its community. The raid leader decided to ninja-loot three key items:
HC Deathbringer’s Will
HC Off-Hand from Blood Prince Council (which I rightfully won)
HC Necklace
Despite at least 15 players still being present in the raid when he left, the system proved useless in addressing the blatant theft. I made a ticket, providing clear evidence—a screenshot of my winning roll. Since Warmane only allows images to be submitted via Gyazo, I followed protocol. Yet, support dismissed my proof, claiming that a screenshot “could be tampered with.”
This exposes a major flaw in Warmane’s approach to rule enforcement. If a valid screenshot is not sufficient evidence, what is? Must players record their entire gameplay sessions in anticipation of potential theft? The absurdity is evident: Warmane’s support demands impossible levels of proof, essentially giving ninja looters free rein.
This is not an isolated case. Many players, frustrated by similar experiences, have outright stated that reporting is pointless. You’d need 50 screenshots, video footage, timestamps, and testimonials, and even then, Warmane’s support remains indifferent.
The root issue is clear: Warmane prioritizes donations over community integrity. If ninja looters are donors, banning them would hurt their revenue. So instead, they ignore reports, allowing toxicity to fester. This isn't mere negligence—it’s a calculated choice.
Warmane markets itself as a high-quality private server, yet it refuses to uphold basic fairness in loot distribution. How can a server claim legitimacy when it refuses to enforce its own rules? How can players invest time into progression when everything can be stolen with zero consequences?
At this point, Warmane is sending a clear message: Loot rules mean nothing, ninja looting is fine, and support will not help you. If this is the kind of experience they want to cultivate, then they should be transparent about it. Until then, their so-called “support” is nothing more than a hollow facade.
And I know some no-livers will comment under this to stop crying or whatever mimimimi, and yet you keep asking yourself how World Of Warcraft in general is horse**** at keeping new players in the game...
There's a whole thread listing the minimum our Staff requires to be presented as evidence for a report to be considered valid. It's very straightforward, details what the short list of screenshots has to show, and clearly states the fact the screenshots must be the full screen without any edits or cuts.
People create successful reports and thieves get banned all the time, because they simply meet the minimal requirements.
Your inability to follow those simple instructions and present the required evidence, acting like if you consider something "good evidence" it must be accepted, doesn't translate into "Warmane only bans non-donors."
If you did screenshot i did even better i did 2 video on 2 ninja looters screen recorded every single requirement followed the report topic template and here i am the 2 ninja looters still not even banned .... maybe there is reason for them to reply "we will investigate" instead of telling you what actions they took because they didn't take any
I mean, Blizzard doesn't even give a **** if someone ninja looted, so at least Warmane will help in some situations. If someone Ninja looted something on 4th boss, why did you even stay?
