Gearscore newbie look for advice

Hi guys i am pretty new can i get advice how to get from 2400 gs to 5 6k to be able to raid with otherplayers. Thanks in advance!

-Join icc rep grind for your bis ring.
-cheapest way as newbie id suggest grind the factions reputation gears(like from kirin tor, ebon blade, argent crusade, wyrmrest) fill the gearslots till u able to do heroics.
if u're able to farm gold(which u should anyway) u can fill the slots with BOEs from AH. if u have crafting profession u can craft your own to fill some slots.
-spam heroics till u get the tier 9 set, while farming eots and daily eofs. do the weekly eof too.
-dont forget to login on website everyday to earn your vote point. spend the point on pieces that are hard or take forever to farm ingame. spend the emblems the same way btw.
-gem and enchant your gears(only do this on your 232ilvl items and above, this increase gs too)

i wouldnt suggest join a pug, strongly suggest u to join a raiding guild and socialize, learn guides/tactics/mechanics, apply for alt runs, ull gear up eventually

178-200 ilvl items: RDF, RDF HC and reputation faction vendors around Northrend. Some BoE can be obtained from AH for relatively cheap.
200-232 ilvl items: ToC, FoS, PoS, HoR on normal or HC. Onyxia 10, OS10/25.
232-245 ilvl items: ToC 25, Onyxia 25, ToGC 10 (ToC 10 HC). VoA 10/25 Fire boss.
251-264 ilvl items: ICC 10, ICC 25, Ruby Sanctum 10. VoA 10/25 Frost boss.
+271 ilvl items: ICC10HC (LK only), ICC25HC, RS25HC.
About VoA: Try to do Fire+Frost runs, if you lack the gear.

From EoT gear 232-245 ilvls, get ones that you need. Depending on class T9 2p and/or 4p is recommended.
