There are choices to be made, and you obviously won't satisfy everyone, any given choice resulting in both happy and frustrated people
There is one thing they could improve upon tho: information. Make your decision, which you may or may not justify, but PLEASE tell us the result.
One example here would be the BG marks, for which I also couldn't find any info despite my best efforts surveying this forum.
Having this information would drastically change my ways (should I go for reputs, even the far fetched one, to avoid waste?). And I dare think many medium players like me would love to know
A few words from you to transmit decisions (which have already been taken anyway) would save many a great deal of grief
Thanks for allowing us to play the game we love! (and I am especially thankful for Blackrock which allows to enjoy pvp without having to pve)

Echoing the many users above, I am curious if there will any brief "discount period" where we can spend S1 Arena Points on discounted items, before our points are reset? Thanks in advance.

So from February 22 till 26, you should be able to see the discount, if there will be any.
It will not help to ask the question again and again.
And my guess would be no. the discount will come when S2 comes out (Like it did back in retail)

Well, you don't answer at the question about a possible arena points flush wesnesday february 26, as the original posts said, Season 1 would end february 26 at 23:00 server time.
So can a moderator alteast answer to that question about a possible arena pts flush february 26 ?

It wouldnt be useless to buy some Season 1 gear if you got trash gear and if season 1 cost half the arena points. Then you could catch up faster.

Arena flush would happen the morning February 26 (at 7:00 Server time something like that?). I understand that Arena points will be wiped at 23:00 server time the same day.
Unless I missed something, nothing Page 1 confirms that there won't be a flush february 26 morning, nor confirms that there will be a flush.

How hard is it to understand that the Arena points will be Removed from your character at Feb. 26 23:00?
So yes, you need to spend it before that time! and no, there will not be a S1 discount.

Will not happen, from the bug report:
Our reasoning for not including these is the following:
* The item ids are in the 2.1 range
* Comments on the items, craft spells and recipes are all 2.1+
* Multiple qa verified that ssc patterns were added during Black Temple
* We are following original tbc and not classic for patch changes
