I've been working on updating Kader's version of Talented (https://github.com/bkader/Talented_WoTLK) so it works on Onyxia with Onyxia's "custom" (expansion appropriate) Talents and other mechanics...and I think it's in a state that it's ready for sharing.
Talented is an addon that displays all tabs of your talents in a single frame. It also allows you to create and save templates for each class's talents, and to apply the template to your current character. Importing and Exporting of Talent Builds is also a feature of the addon.

Huge fan of this addon, but.. i just had a complete wipe of all my builds, had over 20! Not sure how it happened, crashed while flying and when i logged back on, i was also using backup chat layout etc.
Request;
Backup file after each edit, that cant be touched by the client! so instead of the normal:
- Talented.lua
- Talented.lua.bak
Could you do a :
- Talented.lua
- Talented.lua.bak
- Talented.lua.lastedited
..or smth simular. So i dont have to manually remember backing it up :)

This is something WoW does, and I don't think addons have any direct access to the files on your computer to do anything like this. It's a security feature of WoW to reduce the ability of addons to be malicious.
I'm sorry you lost your templates from the original Talented. Unfortunately it was required in order to recognize and process multiple expansions worth of talents.

All Player Talents should work. I got Hunter Pet Trees working, but needs more testing. I don't know if localizations (changing the language in the client) will break how I got it working, so if you use a non-english client localization, please test that for me and let me know/file an issue if it's broken. Imports/Exports from website URLs still needs fixed. Also need to check grabbing talents via inspecting players.
zh-cn clients are not supported

i have a bug where even if i install a new wow, and install only this addon in that stock version, it doesn't let me create new templates or see templates that the addon scans from other players.
