1. Banned for ninja looting ?

Today, I just got banned for ninja looting in a dungeon but honestly i don’t understand why. I have never ninja looted anything in a dungeon. So I would like the GMs to give me more details about the reason for my ban for what exact reason in which dungeon and for which item I was banned

  2. You were banned based on evidence that was provided. The evidence being screenshot/video showing you need rolled an item that was something you shouldn't have needed and won. The evidence is for staff use only.

I guess you thought since nobody rolled need, you could roll need on an item, maybe for your OS.

  3. Okay, yes if we're talking about secondary specialization I remember that. We were in a dungeon, I was playing DPS (Shadow Priest) and a healing mace dropped. I saw that no one had rolled 'Need' on it, and I needed it for my secondary specialization (Holy Priest) so I rolled 'Need.'

Seriously, I got banned for 4 days for that? For an item that no one else needed?

  4. What do you mean "no one else needed"? Who needed it for their os rolled "greed" and then you stomped in with your "need" and don't even have decency to feel even a little guilty about it.

  5. The decency to feel guilty about what? No one needed that mace. Finding a dungeon in normal mode… I’m not going to feel guilty for rolling need on a mace that the whole group didn’t care about. When I say no one needed it, I mean no one needed it—neither for their main specialization nor even less for their secondary specialization.
Honestly, the rules on this server and the people who play on it are absurd… I’ve never seen anything like this in my life. A 4-day ban for this… You’d think I just ninja-looted the Warglaives in Black Temple…

  6. the exact reason u got banned isnt necessarily the one u're mentioning, tho its obvious someone reported u with evidence of violation.

and about your mentioned case, u pressed need on something that isnt for the role u have queued with. that alone is against the rule.
if u need something for your os, dont just assume and yoink things as if u are the center of the world. ask people politely if they mind u pressing need on it for your offspec. u need it for your os doesnt mean people dont need the gold that piece worth in npc or mat for enchanting. if anyone mind, then dont be ignorant and force your luck like that.

  7. Logic is
NEED - upgrades for spec you "Accepted" dungeon as.
GREED - everything else, unless you get 4 "yes" in chat.

Act according to this and you wont have problems, your big brain theories are irrelevant.

    IN-GAME NINJA POLICY
    Example of forbidden acts:

Player need rolling (group loot) on items which he cannot even use.
In RDF needing on items for Off-Spec (unless everyone in party is explictly fine with this).
Need rolling for other players to have 2 or more roll chances at one item.
Kicking players from raid for no reason, especially before distributing loot from boss kill that they participated in.
Master Looter taking items that were not reserved or giving them to players that did not win, unless it's 2nd highest roll when winner had no use for the item (rogue rolling on caster trinket).
Changing looting rules during the raid, after it has started.Example: You joined a raid that was being advertised as one with no reserved items and after first boss raid leader says that he reserves item x from last boss.
Player exploiting game bug to bypass master loot.

if ANY single one of those applies to what you did then you broke the rules.
