1. HARDCORE is Highly Addictive!!!

Long time player, yada, yada. yada, big respect to the Warmane team for providing access to this fantastic experience.

Given the sea of absolutely insignificant things people complain about on the forum, you can deduct how mature this product is. How weapon enchants look is a problem; get a life xD

Any-who, just played wow classic hardcore, and it's HIGHLY addictive. I represented the Warmane community well and got to 60 on a warr on my first try. What a rush. Lost interest after dinging 60, but I wished I could do this on Warmane.

    Here's the vision:
Lordaeron, starting zones 1st quest giver, offers to make you "mortal." You get pve flagged and embark on the journey. Can group, trade, mail, guild bank, and use AH - the whole enchilada. Even open those toons to store purchases for items lvl 1-70. This will bring in the monetization without affecting end game content. Upon death get the option to be transferred to Icecrown. If you hit 80, some cool title, possibly a mount, OR a scroll to remove weapon enchant looks - work for it sweats xDDDDDD

This also opens the door for the world's first full HARDCORE group Lich King LOD kill. That must be a title.

In conclusion, with very little dev work, you get an answer to Blizz's wow classic hc, we get a brand-new, highly addictive experience of the game we all love on the server we all love.
    Do it.

  2. Lordaeron itself isnt as much populated/prefered as icecrown and hardcore is somekinda wow fetish, you can just level/raid and delete your character yourself when you die.

  3. You lose respect real quick when you start dissing out others' suggestions to add to system that's already implemented, and that can be compared to features that Warmane already provides with its transmogrification system.

You want some niche experience you did in easymode classic to Warmane, how about you "get a life xD" or go back to ever-so-easy classic. Classic is nothing but a mockery to the original game.

    Regarding your vision..
    1. Lordaeron doesn't offer equipment items in the shop. Your suggestion breaks the fundamental core of Lordaeron.
    2. Warmane doesn't offer realm transfers unless it's to decommission a realm (seasonal & end of life realms).
    3. You want Warmane to provide you for rewards for the way you decided to play.

  4. What's really going to bake your noodles later is if I intentionally sparked controversy with a recent topic to generate more traffic, increase visibility, and the chances of this ending up in the inbox of someone who truly understands the value proposition. There's a version of reality where you got bated to come here to lecture but got farmed instead xD
Take it easy. There's always a bigger fish. While on the topic, it's worth mentioning that only two things smell like fish. One is fish.

  5. I'll give you more traffic so you can see how it changes nothing. You seem to conveniently ignore rest of my post, I wonder why.

If you think this is unique suggestion that hasn't been rejected/ignored before, you're wrong. There are plenty of HC suggestions, all have had the same sad fate - lack of interest on Warmane's part. Nothing is stopping you from playing HC yourself with other like-minded players. You don't need rewards to do it, now do you?

There's no version that baited me to come here. You would've received one reply, a reply that doesn't support your idea, regardless of baits you threw there. Is your suggestion so uninteresting that you need to do some engagement generating baits? You devalue your own suggestion due to that. All you're generating is more work for mods to look if the replies are staying civil.

  6. more like temporary hype than addictive. proof:
    Lost interest after dinging 60,
frostmourne WAS addictive, i bet my balls onyxia population will skyrocket at wotlk phase.

  7. New hardcore mode, but PvP enabled.

  8. The only positive about hardcore is that certain people will ragequit the game.
