WotLK Demonology Warlock arena

I understand it has some bad parts, like being suscetible to Banish (warlocks) or Holy Wrath (paladins). Also needing to cast and dispel protection of his dots is not great.
Still it is a spec like any other and from my experience people exagerate a lot with things like meta is this and that, and everyone should only play this and that because only the best specs works and nothing else wont.

I know from experience that best spec for me is the one i love the most, not the best ranked. I played resto druid to 2150 rating and people say its a hard spec but i found it easier then most other specs and that mattered A LOT. My love for it, not the spec itself.

With this in mind, i want a dps spec but im not really enjoying much so i want to ask how does it feel in arena ? Im not pushing for rank one or whatever.
But if rank 1 would be like 2500 at the end of season id like to be able to get to 1800-2000 maybe. Thats what i want to ask if there is any chance to get around there.

Even if it isn't as good as the other specs for warlock it's still good. And you can for sure get to 2k with it. There's a guy on YouTube called Ostromt who has some videos of demo lock arenas on warmane. I agree that if you enjoy it you should play it. Most specs on wotlk can be made to work even if they aren't viable for rank1. If you don't have partners it might be harder to find if you're playing an off meta spec but I think you can have a lot of fun as demo playing with s boomkin, ele, dk or BM hunter. Like something fast paced where you try to win during your metamorphosis! It can probably be played with healer as well.
